Farmer's Daughter' is a creative rural business run by designer/ maker Helen Thompstone, from her family's farm in
Staffordshire. Influenced by food, farming and the great British
Countryside, the range has grown into a unique collection of designs,
which continues to expand.
grown up on the dairy farm, Helen left home to study for a degree in
Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, returning to her
roots at the beginning of 2007 to become more involved in farming
life with the rest of the family.
By the end of 2009 'A Farmer's
Daughter' was beginning to take shape as creativity met the farmyard and
the first card ranges were born.
designs now feature on a range of products including bone china mugs, tea towels
and prints and much like the business of farming itself, Helen prides
her work on being home grown and lovingly produced.
Farmer's Daughter products are stocked throughout the UK and
internationally by wonderful independent retailers and farm shops.
addition, A Farmer's Daughter also works to commission for individuals
and businesses, as well as supplying beautiful bespoke and country
themed wedding stationery.
